David Howard, better known in the literary world as NeM, is a versatile and engaging writer based in  Southern California.

With a unique blend of humor and a touch of self-deprecation, he has made a name for himself in the realms of comic books, poetry, short stories, and novels, accumulating a notable list of publications throughout his writing career.  David’s passion for writing ignited at a young age, with his journey beginning when he penned his first published horror story, "The Curse of Tahquitz," at the tender age of nine.

Residing in Riverside, California, David enjoys a lively household that includes his loving wife, three adult children, and an eclectic assortment of beloved pets comprising four dogs, seven cats, three chickens, and three cockatiels. His educational background includes a degree in Computer Science from The United States Military Academy, where he also proudly served as an officer in the United States Army. With a rich tapestry of experiences and a approach to storytelling, David continues to captivate readers with his imaginative.
